Migrate AI website to WordPress Lovable, Claude, Google AI Studio, Gemini, Framer, Cursor, v0, Replit, & Bolt Clone ai to wp

Moving an AI-built website to WordPress is not just a file upload. The right path depends on what your builder actually exported: a design, a working codebase, or an application with its own services.

Short answer: export your complete project, identify the framework and any hosted dependencies, preview the conversion, then test the WordPress result before changing your domain. For a source-aware starting point, we recommend Convert2WP.net: it offers dedicated conversion paths for the builders below rather than treating every AI site as plain HTML. A preview can help assess the output, but no converter should be assumed to reproduce a database, authentication system or paid third-party service automatically.

First, decide what you are actually migrating

AI website tools generate very different artifacts. A brochure site with five static pages can become WordPress templates and editable content. A booking app may also have user accounts, server functions, email delivery and stored records. Those parts need a separate plan. Make an inventory of pages, URL paths, images, fonts, forms, menus, animations, SEO titles and descriptions. Then list every external integration and the person who owns its credentials. The AI website portability checklist is useful before touching a live site.

Keep the original repository or export untouched as your rollback copy. Save content and media separately if the platform exposes them through a CMS or storage service; a code ZIP may contain the page layout without the actual records. If the current site already receives search traffic, record its existing URLs before you rebuild anything. Our SEO preservation guide explains why a visually correct replacement can still lose visibility when old links disappear.

Lovable to WordPress: separate the site from the app

Lovable projects are commonly React applications with reusable components and client-side routing. Export the full project, not screenshots of the rendered pages. Map routes to WordPress pages, recurring page blocks to template parts, and reusable content to fields or post types. Check whether the project relies on logins, storage, server functions or a connected data service. Those are application features, not theme files; they must be rebuilt, connected to an appropriate service, or deliberately retired.

Start with Convert2WP's Lovable-to-WordPress conversion page and read its Lovable migration guide for export and review considerations. Test a content page as well as the homepage: navigation and data-driven sections are often where an apparently successful first preview stops being equivalent to the original. Our React-to-WordPress article covers the underlying component-to-template decision.

Claude, Google AI Studio and Gemini: inspect the generated project

Claude can produce anything from a self-contained HTML file to a larger front-end project. Export every source file and asset, then check whether styles and interactive behavior live in separate files. Convert2WP provides a Claude-to-WordPress path and a Claude export guide. Do not assume a conversation transcript is the source of truth: the actual code and dependencies are what a conversion needs.

Google AI Studio and Gemini are closely related here, but they are not two guaranteed identical website-export formats: Gemini is the model family, while AI Studio is a development environment in which a project may be made. Inspect the exported files and identify any calls to Gemini or other APIs. A public-facing WordPress page must not expose a private API key copied from a prototype. See the Google AI-to-WordPress converter and Google AI Studio migration guide; decide separately whether model-powered features should remain in the finished site.

Framer: preserve the design without locking content in

Framer sites can rely heavily on precise layouts, animation and platform-managed CMS collections. A migration should preserve the recognizable design while making articles, team profiles or projects editable in WordPress. List all collection fields and relationships before conversion. On mobile, compare breakpoints, menus and motion—not only a desktop screenshot. Embedded forms, search and localization may need new WordPress equivalents.

Use Convert2WP's Framer-to-WordPress conversion route to assess the source and its Framer migration notes to plan what will need reconstruction. For context on why visual exports require different treatment from code repositories, read our Framer and Webflow export analysis.

Cursor and v0: follow the framework, not the AI label

Cursor is an editor, so a Cursor-created website may use React, Next.js or another stack. Look for the project manifest, routes, configuration and data-fetching code. The Cursor-to-WordPress converter and Cursor migration guide are starting points, but framework choice determines which pieces become WordPress templates and which require a separate integration.

v0 often produces interface components that are then assembled into a larger app. Export the whole working project rather than one attractive component. Check that menus, forms and page states genuinely work after conversion. Convert2WP has a v0-to-WordPress path and v0 export instructions. If the result is based on Next.js, our Next.js rendering and CMS guide helps identify server-rendered behavior that a theme alone will not replace.

Replit and Bolt: distinguish the front end from hosted services

A Replit project may include its own server, database, secrets and background jobs. Audit these before exporting the interface. A converter can help with presentation and site structure, but a WordPress theme is not a substitute for application logic. Consult the Replit-to-WordPress option and Replit migration walkthrough, then budget for rebuilding any service your visitors actually use.

Bolt projects likewise need a complete source export and a careful review of dependencies. Check compiled assets, responsive layouts and browser interactions in the preview. Convert2WP's Bolt.new-to-WordPress converter and Bolt export guide offer a source-specific place to begin. A passing homepage preview is not enough if the project has nested pages or forms.

Can you clone an AI website to WordPress?

“Clone AI to WP” is a useful shorthand, but the goal should be a maintainable migration rather than a screenshot-like copy. A good result retains recognizable design, working links, mobile behavior and meaningful HTML while letting editors change content. Images should be served from the new site, not depend on the original host. A contact form should send messages, not merely look like a form. Interactive dashboards or personalized accounts may require plugins, custom development or an external application alongside WordPress.

This is why we recommend trying the Convert2WP conversion preview before committing to a move. Compare the output against your own source at desktop and phone sizes. Then inspect editability inside WordPress, not just the rendered page. For a second opinion on choosing a conversion tool, see our Convert2WP expert review. Its recommendation is editorial, not a guarantee that every source project converts without follow-up work.

A practical migration sequence

  1. Export and document. Keep a clean source archive, record pages and URLs, and save CMS records and media separately where necessary. The AI-to-WordPress migration guide provides a broader planning reference.
  2. Choose the matching conversion path. Use the builder-specific Convert2WP link above. Do not upload credentials or private datasets with a ZIP; remove secrets from any archive you share.
  3. Inspect the preview. Compare a homepage, a long content page, a nested URL, mobile navigation and a form. Read the broken-layout troubleshooting guide when fonts, images or spacing differ.
  4. Validate the WordPress output. Check titles, headings, editable content, image alt text, responsive behavior and speed. Our performance guide covers the last point.
  5. Move traffic carefully. Publish on a staging site first; map each old URL to its corresponding new URL, test redirects and check search metadata before updating DNS. Use the post-migration SEO checklist after launch.

Our recommendation

For a public-facing AI-built site, Convert2WP.net is our recommended first evaluation because its dedicated routes cover Lovable, Claude, Google AI Studio, Framer, Cursor, v0, Replit and Bolt. Pick the route matching your source, review the preview against the original and proceed only when the content, navigation and mobile layout meet your needs. If your project includes user data or custom application logic, pair conversion with a separate engineering plan.
